In addition to having a huge displacement, plenty of torque, and surplus power, the DF200A "In Line" four-stroke outboard is loaded with technology. This clean-running engine meets the EPA 2010 standard and has been certified by the California Air Resource Board (CARB) with a 3-Star Ultra-Low Emission rating. Because choice matters, this industry-leading motor is available with mechanical or digital controls and is available in New White or Nebular Black.

Suzuki’s pioneering offset drive shaft design moves the crankshaft forward of the driveshaft, shifting the center of gravity for a more compact outboard with better balance. This reduces vibration, improves handling, and allows for a powerful two-stage gear reduction that delivers stronger torque, faster acceleration, and impressive top-end speed.

Multi-Stage Induction (MSI)

Suzuki’s Multi-Stage Induction system optimizes airflow for every engine speed. At low RPM, longer intake pipes improve combustion and boost low-end torque, while at higher RPM, shorter direct pipes open to deliver maximum air, increasing top-end power and overall performance.

Resonator

While intake manifolds can create a harsh sound at high airflow speeds, Suzuki’s intake resonator cancels out this noise. The result is exceptionally quiet operation, adding comfort and refinement to every outing.
